Dance Dance Dance.

Lately a few pupils from our school have been competing in regional ISTD dance competitions.So far none of them have qualified.When you qualify that means that you are eligible to compete in the grand national finals in October.So far the best results we have had so far in a Y8 student came 1st in solos and 4th in line dance. But there is now a new competitions date this Sunday the 6th May hopefully we will be successful in this upcoming one.I will post the results on a few days after the competition.

I am loving the voice UK . I think Tyler James is amazing he is definitely the best so far but that is my opinion. Your comment counts so say who you think is the best. We might be doing a survey so have a think on who you like the best ! Hi, sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Has a anyone watched a film called Inception? It's great for people who love a film that makes them think. Also, Leonardo DiCaprio playing the main part.

It's about people who go into peoples' dreams without the dreamer knowing, which isn't entirely legal. I love this film because it could happen and it's slightly weird and cleverly made. I want to say thank you to the director for making it. I'd give it 5/5 stars any time.

The Hunger Games

The hunger games film-
I would give this film 5 stars. Its so gripping and you can't take your eyes off it. It just adventure after adventure!
Its about a girl who has to fight 23 other people from 11 other districts and basically you either kill or get killed. It is also a love story which is so emotional. GO WATCH IT IT IS WORTH IT!

The Big Mile!

On friday at the end of this week, our school is going to be running a full mile for Sports Relief! The only catch is that we are all in none uniform, and if we want to, we can go in fancy dress! So you can go a banana, a gorilla or even Professor Dumbledore!! Look forward to see you guys in your costumes!

Big Bang Theory! (The TV programme, NOT the actually theory)

Who likes the Big Bang Theory? I do! It is a wicked programme. Who is your favourite character? Mine is Sheldon, the so called genius, who has a vivid resemblance to a Praying Mantis, and if given coffee, will go completely hyper, and change into his Flash costume! My favourite episode is the one when Sheldon has been awake for 3 days, as he is trying to discover in what motion does electrons move. Unfortunately, due to lack of sleep, Leonard gets a phonecall to tell him that Sheldon is terrorizing everyone in the local ballpit. Reluctantly, Leonard tries to get him out, only to get in there himself, while playing hie-and-seek with Sheldon, who refuses to get out. Let me know what your favourite episode is! And one more thing- Zoom! Zoom! BAZINGER!!!

Have you heard about the Chupacabra in Puerto Rico? It is a dog-like creature, with a wide gate, short front legs, an elongated head with fangs and menacing eyes. It is said to suck the blood out of livestock- actually it hasn't been known to, it HAS! That's because it is real! SKI TRIP!

Buon Giorno! As you all know, some very lucky year 7s and 8s went to Aosta Valley in Italy, for a fun packed week of skiing, and many brilliant activities in the evenings. When we first travelled there, it took much more time than we thought, taking a whole day! Well, 23 hours and 46 minutes to be exact. We first travelled from School to Dover, taking a little over 3 hours to get there. We then travelled from Dover to Calais for two hours, where a couple of people didn't really feel well- no more info on that. Anyway, it took 12 hours to get across France to Italy. Unfortunately, an hour later, just as we were almost at Aosta Valley, the water pipe snapped due to the extreme climate change. We had to wait two hours for another bus, and after that, we made it! We got everything fitted, then we made our way back to our hotel. It was a very good hotel, and the food was- well, plentiful. The problem was, most people got sick of the pasta after the 3rd day. The pizza was very nice. We had alot of fun, and I would like to thank all the teachers who helped us along the way, and to our instructors, who we hope had as much fun as we did!

Ski Trip

Hello its me Thomas I want to talk about the ski trip that happened on the 21st of January. I went and it was so fun. we didn't go on big slopes but by the end we were on red run's. I was sad to go but it was good to be back. 

radio competition

On radio two there is a book writing competition for children. It is for children 13 years old or younger and can you can write a story about anything. It can be anything under 500 words and the top fifty story writers will get the chance to win your height in books if you come third, Alex Jones' height in books if you come second or Chris' Evans' height in books. I'm definitely entering!

Match report- IPSWICH TOWN 5-1 WEST HAM

Ipswich took the lead in the 3rd minute after Michael Chopra thumped the ball into top corner from close range. 72 minutes later Jay Emanual-Thomas scored from 30 yards out. J.E.T scored his second goal of the night when he scored in the 90th minute to make it 5-1.

My birthday!

I'm really excited because my birthday is tomorrow and I'll be a teenager :). I accidentally burnt myself on the forehead this morning with the curling tongs (ouch) but then again I've only used them twice and that was my first burn.

Saturday morning

Hi everyone, it's me,Megan. I'm currently sitting at the PC at 10:45 am. My mouse keeps switching itself off which is a pain but never mind. What do you usually do on a Saturday morning? Do you enjoy a nice lie in until lunch, or are you like me, waking up at 8:00 am and jumping on the PC at the first opportunity? I am an early bird simply because... well, I don't know. It may just be that I'm so used to waking up at 6:00am on a school day. This morning I was up at about 4:00am because I had a sore throat. I decided to help myself to a glass of water and a few biscuits. Anyway, you don't want to know about that rubbish. What do YOU do on a Saturday morning? Please tell me!

Should Coronation street of got the award? NO Eastenders should have.
I am glad Jaqualine Jossa (Lauren Branning Eastenders) got the new comer award.
I love Ant and Dec!! So I am so glad they got the best entertainment presenters award on the 11th time running.
And I also love i'm a celeb get me out of here. So I am happy that they got the best reality tv show.
And x factor got the best talent show.
And Matt Smith and Karren Gillan got the best female and male in drama.
The best drama award went to Downton Abbey.

Ski Trip.

47 people in year 7 and 8 are going to Italy on saturday 21st january to go skiing. For quite a long period of time the pupils have been staying after school on a tuesday to do some excersise so they are fit and ready to ski. The trip is eight days long, but it take one day to travel there, and one day to get back.

Manchester United won the F.A cup derby against Manchester City. Manchester united took the lead from Wayne Rooney in the 10 th minute and 2 minutes later Vincent Kompany saw red for his no contact challenge on Nani but Roberto Mancini claims Rooney got him sent off. Manchester Utd got a goal from Danny Welbeck then a peanalty that got saved by city keeper Pantamolian then Rooney scored the rebound. City got two goals but couldn't find a 3 rd goal.
